This is a series of images that I hold dear to my heart. They’re sentimental pieces in which every time I look at them, they tell me a story of a first. The first day we arrived at our new home, the first drought, the first intense frost, the first muster, our first wet Spring. They’re moments I cherish.

My hope for you is that they become a cherished memory of a first for you too. Whether it be gifting a framed print to celebrate a particular decade, or a partner gifting a framed print for their first wedding anniversary (which is paper by the way). I hope these images go on to create more fond memories that you can cherish forever, like they did for me.

When I look beyond the shoreline, to where sea meets sky, I am transported to a euphoric daze somewhere between calmness and curiosity. What lies beyond that horizon line I’ll perhaps never know. But I often imagine myself gliding above that line as if I was an albatross caught in a breeze.

The ocean is our escape from the land. Small pockets of relaxation and salty sea breezes. A moment to recharge and forget about the demanding day to day, never-ending to-do list of farm life.

Shorelines is a series I captured during our recent holiday to Western Australia. Where the rugged beauty of the sea cliffs and cascading waves took my breath away.

Where we live, we may be hundreds of kilometres from the sea, but the sound of the ocean, sunburnt cheeks, tangled salty ocean hair and warm evenings on a balcony overlooking the shoreline certainly never leaves me.
